Since the major part of academic success depends on the students' psychological state, this study was conducted to investigate the psychological status and academic performance of nursing students at the School of Nursing and Midwifery in Shiraz. 2 MSc in Nursing, Intensive Care Nursing, School of Allied Medical Sciences, Urmia University of Medical Science, Urmia, Iran. 3 Assistant Professor, Nursing and Midwifery colledge, Shiraz University of Medical Sciences, Shiraz, Iran. 1 Associate professor Patient Research Center, Urmia University of Medical University, Urmia, Iran. After collecting the questionnaires, the students were divided into two main groups, without psychological problems and with psychological problems, based on the scores obtained.
